DO YOU TAKE CHRISTMAS TREES?
Sanico collects Christmas trees from residential customers except from those customers located in Morris County. Trees must be cut into sections no longer than 3 feet. Put your cut up tree out with your regular trash. Residents of Washington Township, Morris County may drop off Christmas trees at the DPW, 54 Rock Rd.
WHY WASN’T MY CHRISTMAS TREE TAKEN THIS WEEK?
Sometimes, because of the volume of trees and trash after the holidays, there is not enough room in the truck for everyone’s tree. It will be picked up during the following weeks as the volume of trash decreases.
WHEN WILL MY GARBAGE BE PICKED UP?
Garbage collections are made once per week beginning at 4:30AM. Pick-up time may vary week to week. Place your trash within 5 feet of the road the evening before your collection day. During periods of inclement weather, collection may be delayed. If you are unable to get to work, most likely our collection crews can’t either.
WHY WASN’T MY GARBAGE PICKED UP?
In many cases our crews have been advised not to pick up due to late payment. Please check your bill. Other reasons include:
- The most frequent reason is that the trash was not out when the driver went through
- The can was too heavy to be picked up
- Driver was threatened by a dog
- Denied access to road by road repair or utility crews
- Garbage container was not accessible within 5 feet of road surface
